These Terms govern your use of Home Service Match and its websites, forms, guides and matching services. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

Home Service Match is a connection and information service

Home Service Match provides homeowner education and may connect users with independent contractors, service professionals, real estate professionals, buyers or other third parties. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Home Service Match does not perform the home services offered by independent professionals and does not control their work, pricing, availability, licensing status, insurance coverage, contracts or performance.

No guarantee or endorsement

We may use information supplied by professionals and public sources when evaluating potential matches, but a match is not a guarantee, warranty or endorsement. Homeowners are responsible for independently evaluating any professional, verifying current licensing and insurance when applicable, reviewing contracts and deciding whether to hire or transact with anyone.

Home and real estate information

Guides, calculators, comparisons and other site content are provided for general educational purposes and are not legal, tax, financial, appraisal, engineering or other professional advice. Estimates, scenarios and examples are illustrative and are not guarantees of property value, proceeds, savings, project cost, timing, offers or transaction outcomes.

Seller connections

Homeowners exploring a sale may choose to request information about a traditional market sale, an as-is sale or multiple options. A request does not obligate a homeowner to list, sell, accept an offer or work with any person. Independent buyers may make offers that differ from market value or other available alternatives. Users should evaluate terms and obtain professional advice appropriate to their circumstances.

Third-party relationships and compensation

Home Service Match or affiliated licensed professionals may receive compensation in connection with certain referrals, introductions, advertising relationships or completed transactions where permitted by law. Any transaction-specific disclosures required by law remain applicable. Home Service Match does not guarantee that a particular option is the best or highest-value option for a user.

User submissions

You agree that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have authority to provide it. You may not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent requests or interfere with site operation.

Communications

When you submit a request, you authorize Home Service Match to contact you about that request using the contact information you provide. Additional marketing or automated communications will be subject to any consent required by applicable law. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

SMS Messaging Terms

Home Service Match offers an optional text messaging program for homeowners who request assistance and separately consent to SMS communications. Messages may include service-request acknowledgments, follow-up questions, appointment coordination, and updates about a requested contractor match. Message frequency varies based on your request and interactions. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to automated texts or calls is not a condition of submitting a request or purchasing any goods or services.

Reply STOP to any text to opt out of further program messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or email contact@homeservicematch.net. Opt-out requests will be honored, subject to any legally permitted confirmation message. For details on how information is handled, review our Privacy Policy. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Where consent is provided, some communications may be generated or handled by an AI-assisted system. We endeavor to honor the communication preference you select on the website; a preference alone does not replace legally required consent. We do not guarantee response times or the availability of any particular communication channel.

Third-party services

Any agreement for work, real estate services, property purchase or other service is between you and the applicable third party unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement. Home Service Match is not responsible for disputes, acts, omissions, damages, delays or losses caused by independent third parties.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Service Match and its owners, affiliates, officers and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the site, reliance on site content, a third-party introduction or services performed by a third party. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

No warranties

The site and its content are provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free content or any particular result from using the site.

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version.
